JAGR Interiors & Furnishings

We've become a society that wants quick fixes and even quicker purchases. There's certainly nothing wrong with that &mdash we've all fallen victim to an economic downturn. If only we all had the luxury to sit back, relax and reminisce on a time that once was. A time when furniture was handcrafted and fully customizable.

Nestled in The Rittenhouse, a high-rise of mystique and poise rests JAGR. An interiors and furnishing company that bases their business on the likes of traditional period pieces from London. After accumulating an outstanding and impressive collection, they decided it was time to take their love and make something more of it.

Their collection is comprised of "turn-of-the-century furnishings and decorative arts in the British tradition". Their collection of seating alone is enough to drive you crazy, let alone the desks, beds, dressers and lighting (to name a few!).

JAGR took their business to the next level and started to design and make furniture based off of their collection. John Alexander and Michael Gruber introduced JAGR Interiors and JAGR Design simultaneously. JAGR Design is comprised of 12 fully customizable pieces that start at $1,800. Each piece is handmade by Pennsylvania craftsmen and all can be made in a variety of woods, upholsteries, metals, and sizes. The pieces are inspired by period pieces and simple forms.

JAGR Interiors provides services in the tri-state area. They've designed spaces in Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey &mdash ranging from classic residential to eclectic and bold restaurants. You can't help but get inspired while looking at the spaces they've created.
