Some great French and British children's shops have popped up on our radar lately, and the Ohdeedoh inbox has been filling up with beautiful images from companies like BonBon, Bodie & Fou, Bianca & Family, and now Laurette.

While the stores listed above might not be the most practical resources for our U.S. readers, they offer some fresh takes on the design of nurseries and kids' rooms, and they're great additions to the inspiration file.

Designed by Laure and David Bailleux, Laurette's collection is inspired by vintage children's furniture. The palette is a little different than the nursery pastels and brights we see so much of here in America. Sophisticated grays and plums are the predominant colors, and unexpected details like staggered shelving or a giant question mark painted on the wall make these rooms feel unique.

Laure and David just recently released their catalog in English. To view the collection online, click here.
