Store History

  • Founded by: Jared Madsen
  • Headquarters: Salt Lake City, Utah

How cool are these? Based out of Salt Lake City, Madsen makes cargo bikes that are designed to carry anything from kids to groceries. The "giant bucket on the back" is a pretty simple concept, but so smart for people who live in cities and need to be able to haul stuff without a car.

Bikes start at $1,100 for a basic rack design, and cost around $1,300 for a bucket bike. Madsen is a new company, founded by bike lover Jared Madsen, and it's branching out from online sales into dealer stores. You can still buy direct from their website, and they offer 4-7 day shipping in the US. For dealers in your area, click here.
