Slovenian firm Ofis Architects is known for high-profile residential and commercial work in European cities like Paris, London, and Moscow. Recognized for their distinctive extruded and honeycomb facades, they're also worth checking out for their portfolio of interiors. Our favorite is this private mini loft that divides space into 'cells' separated by sliding doors.

The central room is open, leaving space to entertain and project movies onto the wall. It serves as an A/V room complete with streamlined home tech. The 'cells' that surround the main room contain compartments for a bed, dining area, kitchen, and bathroom. The architects explain the sliding 'envelope' that forms a barrier between the main room and its extensions:

The envelope is made of semi transparent Perspex covered with a print of the forest. The image is seen in the daylight and creates an opaque solid wall effect. In the evening, the services behind light through the skin of the envelope — creating a different ambient sense of bright light boxes.
