Store History

  • Founded: 2002
  • Founded by: Rebecca Nyhus and Jordan Berry
  • Headquarters: Texas

Artists Jordan Berry and Rebecca Nyhus founded Plasticland back in 2002 as an alternative to cutter cutter mall clothing stores. Their original brick and mortar San Diego fashion boutique has now morphed into a complete online lifestyle shop with a full catalog of home decor, books, and gifts in addition to wearables. There's no brick and mortar shop to wander around in now, but you can definitely lose yourself in their gorgeous, well-designed website.

Are you looking for something to give your home a vintage feel? Something that screams apothecary shop or perhaps something that's a bit goth? How about 50s technicolor or Japanese kawaii? Maybe you have a thing for mermaids? They've got you covered with sweet items for every room in the house and for every person you know. We're also excited that Jordan and Rebecca are working on a new line of their own designs to add to their well curated collection of kitsch. We can't wait to check it out.
