Interior Designer Kishani Perera enjoys designing beautiful spaces for clients, but was missing the art of collecting furnishings. So, she opened her first shop, Rummage, where you will find vintage, eclectic, whimsical, enchanting, chic, and unique furnishings. When designing the store, she wanted to create a space that felt very comfortable and gave the feeling of home. The staircase railing is a great example!

Featured items: listed artist impressionist painting, vintage scientific scale, antique English tea pot, Italian alabaster container, vintage milk glass bud vase, antique books, vintage blue decanter, pair of brass candlesticks

Rummage also offers design services and custom pieces. Custom pieces include the Margaret chandelier (made from recycled industrial scrap metal and antique mirror details), X-shaped pouf, Deco discoball (reproduction of a 1920's dancehall discoball), and the Dressform floor lamp (antique dressmaker's mannequin).

I love the wide selection which ranges from smaller accessories and pillows to larger scale furniture pieces. I can't wait to follow Rummage for years to come. Congrats Kishani on the opening of your first store!
