Q - I'm in a bit of a dilemma. My parents asked me whether or not they should invest in a digital photo frame or an iPad to display digital photos on their desk. However, I feel like the iPad may be an easier route since they're familiar with iPhoto already and they can just load themselves. What do you think?

A - There are plenty of digital photo frames out there that'll set you back a mere fraction of the iPad cost. If your parents are light tech users, we suggest grabbing a cheap one (we found a $35 on Amazon) and load the photos on there manually.

On the other hand, if they're already familiar with the Apple line of products and use technology more than the average Joe, an iPad wouldn't be a bad idea. With the recent refresh of the line, your parents would be getting the best value out of a newly released product. Plus, there's always the option to video chat with your parents using FaceTime with the new built-in camera.

Should Angela save some cash and go with the cheaper frame or go all out with an Apple iPad? Let her know in the comments!
