Valentine’s Day can be a fun excuse to eat a bunch of sweets shaped like hearts and celebrate with partners or friends. Or it can be an overwhelming flood of earnest social media posts about everyone’s wonderful relationships that, because Valentine’s Day fell on a Friday this year, extends all three-day-weekend long. (And you can count on roundups of the cutest celebrity Valentine’s Day declarations of love when the weekend ends, too.) Seriously, who wants to see that?
