Hola Dudes. OK, I'll admit it. The exclamation "Holy Guacamole" has found its way into our family's regular vocabulary. Always on the lookout for books that are popular with the kids but can also be appreciated by parents, these read-aloud gems fit the bill. Highly imaginative. Playful. Judy Schachner's creative use of words and her compelling cadence and rhyming are almost hypnotic. On the re-read scale from 1 to 10, Skippyjon Jones gets a 10 in our household.
At Barnes and Noble the prices range from around $9 to $12.
