My home is my little happy place where I can relax and unwind. I love that everything is so open and within a few footsteps (literally) I can get to my kitchen, living area, and bedroom. I’m lucky that the apartment came with fixtures that were my aesthetic — light wood floors and clean, white spaces. I had a lot of fun decorating my space with pops of color, patterns, and textures to make it my own.

What is your favorite room and why? My “living room” in my studio is my favorite. I love to wake up on weekends and make breakfast, get cozy on the couch among my pillows, and look out at the bustling city. It’s fun to people watch and since I live so close to touristy shops, I get to see a lot of visitors walking up and down my street.

If you could magically change something about your home, what would it be? A magical counter that pops up when I need it and disappears when I’m done cooking! I love cooking and experimenting with new recipes and it would have been great to have extra counter space to plop my food, spill my spices, and have friends come over to eat on.

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? Espresso candle—smells just like a freshly brewed cup of coffee, but sweeter.
