Even if your apartment is really little, it's nice to have a dedicated workspace. But how are you going to fit it in? Here's a favorite trick of ours: a wall mounted desk. They take up much less space than a freestanding piece of furniture, and have a nice minimal look to boot. Here are a few of our favorite examples.
Above: This desk, spotted on SF Girl by Bay, is so simple — really just a shelf mounted on a bracket. Painted the same color as the wall, it blends right into its surroundings.
Searching for wall mounted desks? We've got lots of options, in every price point.

From Design Sponge, here's another arrangement that makes the most of a windowsill. The computer in this workspace perches in the window, while the 'desk' is really only a shallow shelf that holds a keyboard and some writing supplies.
From A Beautiful Mess, a counter-height desk for two that makes the most of a corner space.
This desk from Chic Sprinkles, like the one up top, blends into the wall by virtue of being the same color. It looks like a fairly simple setup: a piece of plywood set on standard hardware-store brackets that mount to the wall.
This desk cleverly incorporates a shelf for stashing pertinent items: there's a DIY from Design Sponge.
Folding desks, like this one from Yellowtrace, take up almost no floor space at all when not in use.
And finally, a simple shelf turns a little nook into a cozy workspace, as seen on Elle Decoration.
