Before throwing out that tomato sauce jar, consider all that it can do if its lid is switched out. Worry not, this is not DIY. It's ready-to-buy. My favorite reuse revamp is the solar lid light in Photo 3. This solar lid automatically turns on when it gets dark, is water resistant, and fits any jar that takes a standard mason jar lid. Eco-friendly and good-looking, these products are hard not to like. And the other lids are just as great.
The pump converts jars into a soap or lotion dispenser. The flower frog makes floral arrangements look full and even. And the hanging caddy enables jars to be hung from the ceiling or a stake.
FYI: The size of the mouth on both pint and quart mason jars are the same, so these lid makeovers can be changed from one or the other as you see fit.
The classic "vintage style" blue jars can be bought in sets of six (currently $13.66/set) if you don't have any around the house already.
