Q: We're moving into a century-old home that is finishing a massive renovation. I'm thrilled to have a second-floor laundry, which is tucked into a closet off a hallway leading to our master bedroom. Unfortunately, there is no room in the closet for anything other than the fancy, stacked washer and dryer.

I don't think there would even be room for anything hung on the back of the door. So where does my detergent go?

I've debated using detergent pods but I have a toddler so I worry about ingestion. I've considered something like this cart that I would store in our bedroom and wheel to the laundry closet. But I've thought maybe that's all overboard and I should just go with a college-type shower caddy and call it a day.

Any suggestions?
