Sol Cinema: The World's Smallest Solar Cinema

Sol Cinema: The World's Smallest Solar Cinema

The Sol Cinema is kind of amazing. Inside the wee-sized trailer is an eight seat movie theater…all powered by solar! Inside an old timey movie theatre interior welcomes viewers to enjoy a selection of films via an LED projector, drawing power from a pack of lithium batteries fed by a 120W solar panel, for both day and night screenings. It may be the world's smallest solar-cinema, but it's huge on features and fun.

The Sol Cinema seems like an idea that needs to make its way over the pond from the UK to the areas like Austin and Los Angeles, where the food truck scene has exploded. Imagine dinner and a movie selections all together in a parking lot, wagon circle style!
