Sony's Secret R & D

Sony's Secret R & D

Jun 11, 2007

Car manufacturers show off their concepts at big auto shows to give consumers a glimpse of what might be. Sony recently did a similar thing by opening up their Computer Science Laboraties to show off new technologies that might some day find their way into your everyday life.

One of the more interesting pieces of tech was the 'Music synchronized artistic expressions for Ferrofluid'. Reminds us of grade school science class where you would place metal shavings around a magnet to see the pattern formed....but this one is set to music and embedded in a black oil type substance. How is that for a music visualization?
