Space Saver: Desk In the Dining Room

If you're lucky enough to have a full dining room, it can be a great place to stash a home office. A table can easily do double duty as a desk, and basic desks can transform into a buffet in two seconds. You just have to be good at clutter control. Tips below.

To get this look, stay as paperless as possible. Stash the papers you do need in desktop storage boxes or wall file storage, try to keep the tabletop clean, and put office supplies in a few small boxes. Keep things simple so that you can convert your desk into a buffet or table when you have dinner parties.
