Speakers Made from Baked Beans Can

We wonder if these cans sound a bit tinny -- badumbum! Inspired by tin can telephones made by children around the world, Dean Brown figured out a way to do the same but with a portable music player.

The Audio Cans, made from an opened baked bean container, has a 9V battery operated amplifier and small loudspeaker built in and an audio input to plug into any music player. It can be daisy chained with others to create a cheap surround sound system.

The cans sell for $44.
