Are you loving the look of wallpaper, but intimated by the price, the installation, or simply can't find a paper that suits your style? Try one of these faux wallpaper projects instead.

1. Geometric Stenciled Wall, DIY from A Beautiful Mess: The wallpaper Mandi wanted was not in her budget, so she used homemade stencils and paint to create the look of wallpaper without the hefty price tag.

2. Sharpie Wallpaper, DIY from Vintage Revivals: If you are overwhelmed by stenciling, wallpaper is too expensive or you want thinner lines that you can get with taping off stripes, Mandi has this solution for you.

3. Dot Sticker Wall, DIY from Pisaroita: easy peasy. It took Hanna all of 15 minutes to affixed black circular stickers onto a white wall in her nursery.

4. Hand Stamped Yellow Diamond Wall, DIY from Design*Sponge via Apartment Therapy: After living in her new home for a few months, Kiera decided her bedroom needed something. She added the yellow diamond stamps to just one wall with a custom stamp and an ink pad.

5. Contact Paper Wallpaper, DIY from A Subtle Revelry: Victoria used contact paper to change the look of her front entryway. She found the contact paper to be easy to work with and inexpensive — can't beat 3 bucks a roll!
