It's time to revisit one of our classic decorating dilemmas: televisions. It's gotten easier over the years with flat-screened models, but the question remains: how to display something fairly ugly that you use regularly, without it detracting from the other good, stylish work you've got going on at home? Let's check in with the latest ways our house tour subjects have tackled the issue:

1. Linton and Rob cleverly used an easel to support their flat screen television, as a streamlined option with a small footprint.
2. Sabreen and Terry camouflaged their television by hanging it on a dark painted wall.
3. And to go a step further, James and Dom's black television is nested perfectly in a small space in their black painted library shelves, among lots of books. It sticks out less that way.
4. Catt Sadler is a television personality so it makes more sense that she's have multiple televisions hanging side by side on the wall of her living room. In this case, a balanced two looks better than one.
5. Eric and Maaike hid their television behind a rustic sliding door. When they aren't watching, all they need to do is push it closed.

6. Another sliding door from Misha and Nick, this time hiding a small crevice, just deep enough for a television set.
7. Monique's television is part of a larger vignette, which takes away from the tech quality and elevates it closer to art.
8. Ara and Chris built a white box around their television, so it blends in nicely with their white walls. The white frame makes the television more finished and, frankly, more beautiful.
9. Heather made good use of an unfunctional part of her brick hearth.
10. When all else fails, make it a focal point against a bold and graphic wall. From Stephen & Antwann's Cool, Clever Home.
