Style Inspiration: A Cat in the Hat Color Scheme

Every time I read The Cat in the Hat to my kids, I am always struck by the color scheme. I've always loved the teal, red, and coral of Dr. Seuss's illustrations, and although I'd probably never go so far as to actually implement a room like this in my house, it's fun to dream!

1. Mythic paint in Endless Summer

2. Dot Black and Ivory Rug from Rosenberry Rooms

3. Red comforter and pillowcase from Land of Nod

4. White Minnen bed from Ikea

5. Ruffle Blackout Panel from Pottery Barn Kids

6. Black Duchess Chandelier from Urban Outfitters

7. Dark Turquoise Swedish Linen Pillow from Dress and Spoon

8. Tuffet Seater by Land of Nod
