This Suitcase Has a Built-In Shelf So That Packing Is a Breeze
A quick Google search reveals how popular the concept of traveling light is among experts, which makes perfect sense considering how quickly luggage fees add up. Then there’s the burden of keeping track of and repeatedly lifting heavy bags, a task that could easily add stress to anyone’s trip. Luckily, there’s a compact solution for globetrotters who want to pack light but can’t quite handle the emotional baggage of leaving home without several of their favorite ensembles in tow.
Solgaard’s Carry-on Closet 2.0 is a smart suitcase outfitted with a patented retractable shelving system, a USB charging port with a waterproof cover, an eco-friendly lining, and 360-degree turning wheels (a.k.a. a traveler’s dream).
The new carry-on luggage is the upgraded version of the company’s in-demand suitcase, which launched last winter and has sold out five times since. Described as the major upgrade, the improved carry-on still offers plenty of organization—even when used without its retractable shelf.
The suitcase comes in blue and black as well as two different sizes: At $149, the smaller bag can fit between five and seven outfits or accommodate three to six days of travel; the larger Carry-On Plus ($165) holds between six and nine outfits and is suitable for trips that range between seven to nine days. In an ideal world, we could call Marie Kondo for expert suitcase-packing tips before the next trip rolls around, but since that’s probably not likely to happen, this might be the next best option to achieve optimal travel organization results.
