Meditate
If you have a daily relaxation routine, move it outdoors. Summer evenings especially are such a lovely time to deep breathe some fresh air and end your day the right way. You’ll sleep so much better, we promise.
Take a walk
There are all sorts of physical and mental benefits to an evening stroll. Get a friend or your partner to join in and make it a social event. Get some aerobics in when you ramp up the pace or just peruse your neighborhood’s comings and goings.
Take a nap
If you’re the sort to need 20 minutes after work to “rest your eyes,” then why not try an outside snooze. We promise you’ll wind up extra refreshed and ready for the second portion of your day.
Watch a movie outside
With just a little set-up, you could move movie night under the stars. Grab some blankets and snacks and combine your favorite movie or show with a nice dose of warm evening air and chirping crickets!
Eat dinner outside
Everything tastes better outside. It doesn’t have to be a big production. Grab your meal and head out anywhere you can: a park is great, a deck is dandy but even your front stoop works just fine.
Get some outdoor chores done
Longer days provide more available evening time to putter around and get something done chez toi. Wash the car, mow the lawn, water the plants, get your body moving and accomplish something that just might free up your weekend time.
Are you properly motivated to get outside already! Go!
