Over the years, I’ve become pretty picky about my bedding (and I’m not ashamed to say it!). The main ingredients I look for in a set of sheets are straightforward: a soft feel, durable stitching that will hold up over years of washing, and a breathable fabric that doesn’t leave me feeling hot and sweaty throughout the night. I’ve tested (and fell in love with) quite a few sheets that have checked all three boxes, but none that I could say stand up to the varying temperatures of the northeast. That was, until I was offered the chance to try Sweave Bedding’s bamboo sheets, or as I like to call them, the Goldilocks of bedding.

Truthfully, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the Sweave sheets. That’s not only because of the overwhelming five-star customer reviews they’ve received, but also because bamboo sheets are known to be moisture-wicking and friendly on the skin. I received them in September, just as the summer season was winding down (but the heat was still serious). The Sweave bamboo sheets are made from a blend of bamboo viscose and cotton, which made them feel soft and delicate right out of the package. Although they’re light and airy, they didn’t feel flimsy and thin like other bamboo sheets I’ve tried. Again, just right!

What I thought would end up just being a transitional pair of sheets until the colder months arrived ended up being one of my favorite sets in my linen closet. Not only did it do an excellent job of keeping me cool in the hotter months, but it’s just as good at keeping me warm and cozy now that the brisk fall weather is rolling in. The quality of the fabric is second to none — seriously. The top sheet feels like silk against my skin, and the fitted sheet stays tucked onto the mattress without giving off that slippery feel.

Now that I’ve replaced my thinner quilt for my thicker, winter-friendly down-alternative comforter, I’m noticing the Sweave sheets are still maintaining the perfect balance of comfort and perfect temperature regulation. They’re soft, but not too delicate. Cozy, but not suffocating. Breathable, but won’t leave you shivering at night.

If you’re looking to invest in a good pair of sheets that you can get some year-round use out of, look no further than the Sweave bamboo sheets. Right now, they’re only available in white, pine green, and steel gray. But for less than $100 per queen set (!!!), I’d say this is one of the best investments you’ll make in getting a better night’s sleep.
