Shella Garcia recently opened a children’s boutique for new and vintage clothing, toys and accessories in Long Beach, California. With a color palette akin to a bag of Jordan Almonds, there are some ideas here you could steal for your own child’s room.

The pastel frames hung from the ceiling immediately drew my eye and add some nice texture. I also love the nostalgia-inducing metal school lockers and the chairs hanging on the wall which cleverly double as clothes racks.

Shella shares:

I found a 319 sqft space in Long Beach, CA. The challenge was how I would utilize and maximize my retail space. On top of that I wanted to build a space that was fun and creative. I thrive on being clever with my ideas so I like to do the unexpected! I wanted to make sure that each and every one who came into the shop came in feeling happy, excited and a whiff of nostalgia hoping it brought you back childhood memories!

Thanks Shella! If you’re near Long Beach, you can find Sweet Threads Boutique at 3301 E. 4th St. If you can’t see it in person, you can see more photos here.
