South by Southwest was canceled this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, but now we’ll have a chance to see the films that would have been screened at the SXSW film festival, for free. Amazon Prime is collaborating with the Austin, Texas-based conference and festival to stream these films for ten days, starting Monday, April 27.

The 39 films in the SXSW 2020 Film Collection are free for U.S. audiences through May 6, no Amazon Prime membership needed. All filmmakers in the SXSW 2020 lineup were invited to show their films through the Amazon Prime event.

“Ever since SXSW was canceled by the City of Austin, we’ve been focused on how we could help the incredible films and filmmakers in the SXSW 2020 Film Festival lineup,” said Janet Pierson, Director of Film at SXSW, in a press release. “We were delighted when Amazon Prime Video offered to host an online film festival, and jumped at the opportunity to connect their audiences to our filmmakers. We’re inspired by the adaptability and resilience of the film community as it searches for creative solutions in this unprecedented crisis.”

The lineup includes feature-length and short narrative films and documentaries from the United States, France, Spain, the Czech Republic, the Philippines, and more. You can find the full lineup, including descriptions, on the SXSW website, here. The videos will appear on Amazon Prime here beginning Monday.
