We are huge fans of innovative toys for kids, especially when they incorporate neat tech, like solar power. This piece of tech caught our eyes not only because it's a robot and we love robots, but also because of its solar power chops.

Robots are pretty cool. Solar powered robots are even more cool. Solar powered robots that you can build yourself are super duper cool. Basically, we are saying we think this toy is really cool and we want one. All it takes is a neat piece of kid tech to bring out the child in all of us here at Unplggd.

The T3 consists of 70 small pieces (for ages 8 and up) that allow you to create a solar powered robot, tank, scorpion, or whatever else your imagination desires (within the limits of the kit).

We loved makings things from an early age and we think this toy is a great way to harness a kid's creativity and teach them a little bit about solar power. It also makes a great gift that you won't have to worry about buying batteries for.

The T3 sells for about $20 or £13. For more information, or to order your own T3, check out iWOOT.
