Target is having a flash sale on bedding and bath online only–but only through the end of Monday, March 4. It’s part of their Spring Deal Days, with new flash deals happening every day through March 9. While there are tons of great options marked down, there is one thing we definitely recommend grabbing from the sale: the budget buy sheets that have won us over time and again.

If you are someone who has home decor on the brain often, sheets are likely to be taking up more and more of your musings recently, with a bevy of heritage brands and newcomers vying for your dollars. Perhaps it was inevitable that once Casper got us thinking about something as seemingly mundane as mattresses, we were primed to begin to obsess over other basics like linens. But with an endless array of options promising the best night’s sleep ever, it can be hard to know where to start and where to spend your dollars.

Target’s Threshold Performance sheets are something of an online cult favorite, garnering gushing reviews from devotees, including one of our own writers who said it’s the only sheet brand she’ll ever buy again. We also honored them last year as one of Apartment Therapy’s 50 top home essentials.

The sale prices doesn’t apply to every Threshold color and pattern option, but it does apply to every sheet size. You can browse all on sale options here. Threshold’s flannel set is another great sheet option included in the sale. With a queen set ringing in at $20.24, it’s a low-investment way to get cozier bedding as we wait for spring. The classic performance sheets, however, are a great all-season option: They’re cooling in the summer but not so cold you’ll be shivering in the winter.

How do a humble set of Target sheets get such devotion? It would appear that it’s a combo of design and touch. The sateen stays soft wash after wash, and is comparable to pricier cotton percale. The fitted sheets also have strong elastic that can fit both thin and thick mattresses without slipping, a frequent pain point with other sheet sets we’ve tried.

Already have a favorite set of pricier sheets for yourself? This could also be a great time to stock up for the kid or guest bedrooms. Like their patterned counterparts, the solid performance sheets come in 20 colors, from a variety of off-whites to full-blown jewel tones. They’ll never know you didn’t spend big for their good night’s sleep.
