When do you get most of your shopping done each week? You might browse your favorite websites during slow hours at work, but do you actually ever buy anything in your cart during the week? While we seem to window shop during the week, most people actually do their major spendings on the weekend.
Sunday might be considered a day to be lazy and rest, but people actually do a lot of shopping on Sundays. According to Workarea, Sundays are the biggest shopping day of the week, especially for online consumers. It looks like Target caught onto the trend and decided to reintroduce a popular weekly special they had. Target’s weekend deals are back! According to our favorite bullseye retailer, twice as many guests shop at Target on Saturdays and Sundays than on an average weekday.
Target is bringing back its popular Weekend Deals, timed to the weekends when twice as many guest’s shop compared to the average weekday. Target first introduced Weekend Deals last year, offering guests meaningful discounts on the items they’re shopping for most during the season – like holiday gifts and home items to decorate and prep for gatherings with family and friends.
One of their first weekend deals began this weekend, November 10th and 11th, where home decor, including rugs, lighting, furniture, bedding, bath, tabletop, window treatments, and furniture were all 25% off in stores, online, and in the Target app. Through Sunday, November 11, Target’s Wondershop collection is also 20% off, so you might want to grab those ornaments you’ve had your eye on all week right now.
You can expect to see Target’s Weekend Deals throughout the rest of the holiday season, taking place on almost every Saturday and Sunday throughout the year. If you’re an avid Target shopper, you’re going to want to keep an eye out every Wednesday to find out what the deals will be for the upcoming weekend. You can check out A Bullseye View, Target’s corporate website, to get the first look at each Weekend Deal.
If you’re waiting to hear the best deals Target will have for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, you’re going to want to check back on Target’s site often from now until then. To make your holiday shopping easier this season, you should check and see if your local Target offers same-day delivery or curbside pickup for any online orders.
