Target’s Insane One-Day Curtain Sale Is on Right Now–and It Includes These Not-Ugly Blackout Options

Target is holding a buy one, get one 50% off sale on curtains through Tuesday, June 11, making today a great time to pick up this too-often-ignored piece of home decor. If you already have blinds, or have been using the same humdrum set for years, now is a great time to upgrade to something with a bit more pizzazz.

The sale includes some of our favorite in-house brands, like OpalHouse and Project 62, as well as blackout curtains that manage to look, dare we say it, even chic?

Here are some of our favorites from the sale. Just keep in mind as you browse: not all curtains come in a set of two, so be careful when making your purchase if you want a set.

While these won’t give 100% blackout, they are designed to help filter out light and keep your room darker. If you don’t mind sacrificing a little substance for a lot of style, these are a good compromise for anyone in the market for blackout curtains.

If complete darkness is your aim, though, these Sun Zero options are a good option. The taupe color is also a good alternative to darker colors if that flows better with your space.

And on to more decorative options: These Opalhouse ones will let light filter in, and white curtains are a great way to keep a room feeling light and airy, but the border keeps it from being too boring.

Another way to jazz up solid-colored curtain panels: tassels. They also provide a subtle, contrasting look without being too busy.

There are lots of solid-colored panels in the sale, but this one provides a bit more flair, similar to the Opalhouse option above.
