This month has been a good one for shopping, thanks to all the fall collections rolling out. While every new season brings new products into stores, autumn tends to be a standout, thanks to the abundance of rich colors, soft materials, and lots of texture. Target’s fall collection is no exception, and we’ve been waiting for its launch since the end of August. I got to see a sneak peek of the collection last week, and can confirm that this is one of Target’s best launches yet—and it’s finally available to shop.

I got to see the collection in probably the best setting: upstate New York at the historic Troutbeck resort, where the air is already crisp and the leaves are juuuust starting to change. Target filled the place with cozy home goods from the fall lines, and honestly it was difficult for me to leave and not just move in on the spot. Not only did I get to look at the new products, but I got to eat off dinnerware, wrap myself up in soft throws around a bonfire, and create my own flower arrangement in one of the new vases.

The new collection (there are over 800 new items total) spans all of Target’s in-house brands, including Hearth & Hand by Magnolia, Made By Design, Opalhouse, Project 62, and Threshold. Although the number of new products is vast, there is definitely an underlying theme across the entire collection: gathering. Whether it’s having an intimate dinner party or snuggling up with a loved one, the fall collection has everything you need to gather around and partake in a little, dare we say, hygge.

According to Jill Sando, Target’s senior VP and general merchandise manager, Apparel and Accessories and Home, “Fall is about returning to the heart of the home. It’s a chance to reconnect, unwind and wrap those we love in a warm embrace.” The collection features light woods and ochre color palettes, plus all the cozy textiles you could ever need (think lots of velvet, plaid, and tweed). It arrives online and in stores this Sunday, Sept. 22—here are our favorites you shouldn’t miss.

Threshold Artificial Goldenrod Wreath

The collection includes a great selection of faux plants, including this goldenrod wreath. Simple and vibrant, it’s a lovely addition to your front door—and will especially pop against a darker color. You can also hang it up indoors for a little autumnal decoration.

Threshold Whiskey + Oak Candle

In case you missed it, there are tons of delicious fall scents at Target right now, including this spiced option from Threshold. It’s made of soy wax, smells like a combination of whiskey and mandarin, and has a wood wick that crackles as it burns for ultimate fall vibes.

Opalhouse Banded Diamond Hand Towel

This cream hand towel can be used all year round, but the subtle design and pop of red is especially nice in the fall. The terry cloth feel is soft and absorbent, and the fringed ends add a touch of style. It’s also available as a bath towel if you want to complete the set.
