Here’s Your First Look at Target’s New Holiday Collection, With Pieces Starting at Just $3

Right on the heels of Halloween, Target is launching their winter collection in stores and online this Sunday, Nov. 1, with more than 3,400 brand new products. Usually, I’m a little bit of a stickler about not rushing the seasons and going straight into Christmas cheer before Thanksgiving, but let’s face it: 2020 has been a doozy, so if you can’t wait to get your holiday on, by all means do so.

This morning, Target shared an exclusive sneak peek of some of the seasonal items that you can expect from their portfolio of in-house brands, and it’s full of warm, cozy, and festive finds on the cheap. In fact, more than half of the decor and trim offerings are $10 and under, particularly in the only-at-Target Wondershop assortment. “All year long, guests have been turning to Target to make their homes more comfortable and now we want to inspire new ways to bring joy to the holidays,” says Cara Sylvester, senior vice president of home at Target.

Keep an eye out for double-duty decor; some pieces provide entertainment and decoration (color your own gingerbread houses, anyone?). Whatever speaks to you in this collection, one thing is for sure: You don’t have to spend a fortune to spruce up your space for the most wonderful time of year.

As you probably already know, each of Target’s brands has its own aesthetic and look, so you’ll find everything from traditional Christmas plaids to embellished pastels that will strike a colorful, boho note in your home. I’ve highlighted a few of my favorite new items from some of Target’s brands here and suggest adding what you like to your cart now before it sells out. You can always count on Joanna Gaines to bring her signature modern farmhouse sensibility to yuletide cheer. In shades of cream and forest green, this plaid pillow feels festive but could really be left out all year, whether on a sofa, chair, or bed.

If nostalgia’s your thing, then Target’s Wondershop items are where to start your holiday decor search. This small space-friendly tabletop tree is genius: You don’t have to trim it at all, since it comes pre-decorated with shatterproof ornament balls and tinsel.

Miniatures have had a major moment this year, so it’s no surprise that the Gaineses have yet another toy dollhouse among their offerings this year. This play rowhouse does require assembly, but once your tiny “fixer upper” is done, it’s a great decor piece that can provide hours of entertainment for your littles.
