Talk about a one stop shop. Target announced Tuesday morning that starting in 2021, over 100 locations will have Ulta Beauty stores within Target.

Each “shop-in-shop” Ulta Beauty at Target will be around 1,000 square feet placed near the existing beauty section, and mirror Ulta’s retail layout that allows for discovery and display of familiar and emerging prestige brands, according to a press release. Target team members will be trained as “experts on prestige beauty offerings, aligning to Target’s focus on providing guest service with deep product expertise,” the release continued. The stores will also have some of Ulta’s immersive tools like GLAMLab, a virtual try-on tool that provides safe trial across beauty categories.

“In partnership with Ulta Beauty, a company that shares our deep guest focus, we are able to expand our growing beauty business with new, exciting brands, an immersive experience, and loyalty benefits to transform how our guests shop for all their beauty needs,” said Brian Cornell, chairman and CEO, Target.

No specific locations for the partnership have been named yet, but the companies noted that the plan is to expand to hundreds more over time. Luckily, customers will also be able to shop Ulta on Target’s website, and take advantage of same-day drive up and order pickup, as well as free shipping on qualifying orders.

The addition of Ulta Beauty at Target isn’t the first time Target has made tweaks to the beauty aisle. The Minnesota based retailer made a bunch of overhauls to its store layouts in 2017, including in Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Hearth and Hand brand, as well as Disney store sections.
