Tell Us: Did You Inform Neighbors of a Coming Baby?

I'm so curious about what our readers have to say about this subject, as we have some "problem" neighbors and a baby on the way. This is mostly for those parents who live in apartment or condo buildings—when you were about to have a baby, did you inform neighbors of the noise level to come?

I've gotten feedback from both sides of the fence about this, and in my opinion, an upcoming addition to your family is really no one's business to complain about. However, as a nicety (to those who have previously been nice, at least) I feel like mentioning the noise level change to come is appropriate. On that note, it might be obvious to point out that the parents are usually the ones that want the baby to stop crying the most!

So, tell us: did you inform neighbors of your approaching due date? Did you ever actually have complaints about a baby crying? Leave your stories for us in the comments!
