As a painter, Terri has a very good sense of color and that is extremely evident in her home. She also has a great eye for mixing and matching textures — which she did a great job of in her home office!

Being an artist directly effects how you decorate your home. If you go bold with color in your artwork, you'll most likely do the same on the walls in your apartment. That's exactly how Terri's home is — a large canvas that she and Evan live in. Their studio/home office is a mishmash of tech and non tech. One side of the room is filled with paintings, paint and an easel while the other slide houses a sleek and modern desk and computer.

The computer seamlessly fits into the desk. The glass top with black saw horses and an industrial stool look as if they were meant to be in the same room as a Mac. The bright colors above the desk really accentuate how simple and clean the design of the computer and desk are.

The thing that sort of ties the two worlds together is the extremely helpful and useful peg board above the desk. It's filled with small pieces of artwork, half written notes and pink Andy Warhol bananas. The placement of the board is actually really perfect because it took us over a minute before we finally saw the blue and white glowing box that we're assuming is either part of a home automation or security system. What a perfect way to mask that!

In their bedroom can you see a somewhat similar setup. This time the tech is on top and the artwork is on the bottom! We love the idea of hanging small art on beams of wood like they did.
