Here's a nifty DIY project Ashley over at crafty-creative blog, Lil Blue Boo, came up with for her beloved iPad. Noting the iPad happens to be the very same size as the classic composition notebook many of used in school, Ashley set out to convert one into an inexpensive iPad cover and carrying case...
If you purchase an iPad, don't throw out the packaging! Besides the fact we always believe in keeping the original packaging for electronics (for resale or handing down/trading purposes), Ashley's DIY project shows why keeping the interior packaging can come in handy. Carefully using her X-acto blade cutting skills and a little bit of stitching, the whole setup is finished with elastic hairbands and headbands, which keep the iPad snug and safe when inside.
Can't argue with the results...nor the $2.99 price, practically free when compared to the price of some iPad cases available retail. The complete how-to instructions for Ashley's DIY Composition Notebook iPad case over at Lil' Blue Boo.
