We're starting to see a bunch of different fireplaces. Don't get us wrong, we do like the old fireplaces, but they haven't changed for about a few centuries. It's high time that they get upgraded. We've seen a few strange ideas, like having a fireplace in a trunk, but this one is pretty unique. A movable fireplace.
If having a fire in a trunk doesn't suit your fancy, then maybe having a movable fireplace will. Stephane Perruchon designed this standalone fireplace. You could basically just pick it up and move it around from room to room. Perruchon calls his design Babylon. The burner hangs in the middle of a frame. It's suspended thanks to steel cables and it's fueled by ethanol, so it burns completely clean. There is no need to worry about ash and smoke,
The frame comes in many different shapes, from circular, to rectangular and pyramidal. This is perfect because it allows the Babylon fireplace to fit in with the decor in your present home. This whole concept is pretty cool. These ethanol-based fireplaces are something else. You don't have to worry about wood and smoke, they burn green. We enjoy how this can easily fit in the existing decor of your home.
