Currently we are moving offices for my day job, which has me re-thinking my wire and cable organization options. Our new space will be minimal and I'd like my desk to mimic the same aesthetic with a couple colorful touches that also function as organization tools.

Upon searching for affordable wire organization solutions, we quickly came across a couple favorites to put together as a little guide for others looking to clean up their work space. Here are our top picks to organize headphone wires, USB cables and power adapters.

WrapWrap ($20): Everyone at work as headphones or at least some earphones, and some come with really long cords. WrapWrap not only keeps your headphone wires neat when you put them away, they let you adjust the length of your cords when you're wearing them. What's even cooler is the fact that they're made of scraps of wood. Choose from white oak or walnut and three different sizes.

Great Balls of Wire ($18): Fight a tangle of unsightly cables by wrapping the extra cord length around one of these nifty tennis-ball sized devices. You can wrap up to 5 feet of cable with the ball. The balls come in a selection of bright, fun colors.

Sugru Hacking Putty ($18): We discovered Sugru's Hacking Putty a couple months ago and it's still one of our favorite multifunctional tech solutions - including wire management. A fun solution to repairing your tech accessories and hardware, the putty can also be used to keep wires in place.

Cableyoyo ($4.95): Cableyoyo is designed to keep your wires organized on your desk or on the go. Cableyoyo is an empty spool where you can wrap excess wire length around to keep your work area neat. You can wind multiple cords up in the device and they won't overlap with each other. It's ultra thin so you can tuck it away in a purse or pocket.

Dotz Cord Wrap ($6.99): Another solution that can be both stationary and mobile is the Dotz Cord Wrap. The case comes with a clip to store your headphone wires while you're out and a suction cup to steady your desktop accessories like a hard drive or mouse.
