While some may vouch for The Selby approach when it comes to developing personality to one's workspace, we certainly can't argue with the functionality and cleanliness of a controlled, decluttered desktop work environment.
Highlights from subnetwork's incredibly clean desktop: The ability to balance white cables with wood to create an industrial chic look that can only be achieved with close planning and extensive deliberation. We also dig the placement of the new and old; iPhone and iPod, as they live close to each other, co-existing in a common habitat on the desk.
Similarly, the grab-and-go placement of the wallet and keys (which includes the popular LaCie flash drive key we all know and love) makes for a mobile area of the desk dedicated to instant movement and constant change.
Or, we might just be over-analyzing a simple desk. What do you guys think? Does creating a purposeful desk-habitat for specific electronic items make for a cleaner, friendlier work environment? Let us know below!
