We've been eyeballing IKEA's home office VIKA VEINE furniture line for a while now, but who would've thought you can hack one of their desktops into a full blown, multi-purpose laptop coffee table? Just add industrial sized casters and you're set!

The top itself isn't very expensive at all, but the convenient fold-top makes it an excellent storage unit for your laptop, remote controls, or other junk you don't want guests to be staring at when they're enjoying the rest of your home. At a mere $99, that's not too bad at all.

Kristian didn't tell us where he got his industrial grade wheels from, but we're pretty sure a local hardware store will point you in the right direction. We've also seen IKEA's offerings for casters, though we're not sure if they part them separately for these Frankenstein furniture projects.
