Artefactgroup's WVIL concept is our dream digital camera, an innovative future imagining of digital photography where the removable lens holds the sensor and can wirelessly transmit the image back to the body, solving the issue of including the photographer him or herself in the photo. Add to that a touch UI that makes in-camera image manipulation and alteration easier than anything we've seen out there, and the WVIL has the makings of the perfect prosumer carry along camera.

Multi-touch input affords more direct control over how images are captured. For example, control how in-camera HDR is captured with direct multi-point exposure. Learn new techniques from the masters by using apps and guides designed by professionals. Or get creative by exploring your friends' shooting styles.

WVIL is a new interchangeable lens platform – both for new and traditional glass. Greater flexibility allows new types of lenses such as purpose-built stereoscopic 3D, remote "party cam", and ruggedized helmet-mount lenses.
