Home renovation has been having a major moment during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic — and Lowe’s has taken note. The home improvement retailer debuted The Lowe’s List For Innovation, a curated guide to the most innovative home products in stores and online, earlier this week. The inaugural list, hand-selected by in-house experts, features products that “push the boundaries of innovation and inspiration in unexpected ways,” per the media release, such as a smart refrigerator that allows consumers to peek inside with their smartphones and a cordless drill with extra battery power.

From beginners to seasoned pros, The Lowe’s List For Innovation is for everyone. The featured Lowe’s List products will be badged in-store (with a blue badge that simply reads, The Lowe’s List For Innovation 2021) and online. The curated list spans top appliances, cleaning products, tools, lighting, home décor, and more. “With more than 100 years of experience in home improvement, Lowe’s knows what true innovation looks like, and we can tell you that it’s more than just gadgets,” Bill Boltz, Lowe’s executive vice president of merchandising, said in a media release.

“Our team is focused on making it easier than ever for customers to find the best of the best,” Boltz continued. “The products they’ll find on The Lowe’s List for Innovation have been put through the paces by our expert merchant teams to ensure they meet customers’ needs, enabling them to spend less time researching and more time realizing their home’s full potential.”

The inaugural Lowe’s List spotlights 60 products, including four items from Samsung, Whirlpool, HGTV Home by Sherwin Williams, and FLEX Power Tools — all of which represent some of the top innovations in the home space: Samsung Connected Home Appliances, appliances that enable control of the home from anywhere with a synced device and smart products; Whirlpool Washer with 2 in 1 Removable Agitator; HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams Everlast, exterior one-coat paint and primer with advanced water-beading technology that protects from extreme weather; and FLEX Power Tools, tools with leading battery technology that allows pros to stay on the job longer.
