We have a lot of different phone users here at Unplggd including a handful of iPhone users who updated their phones to iOS 5. There's been a lot of excitement and chatter among our friends and we're starting to hear about the same updates that people seem to be using the most. Here are the iOS 5 updates that stick.

Among our friends and colleagues, these are the apps from the iOS 5 updates that are getting used daily.

Camera: It's been awhile now since people have been using their phone cameras as their main camera. Fortunately for iPhone users, Apple recognized that and now allows users to access the camera app directly from the lock screen.

People are also digging the nifty new photo editing capabilities to control red eye and crop photos - you wouldn't know the amount of people who get red eye in snapshots!

Reminders: Integrating geotargeting with your to-do list is one of the more genius ideas that Apple has adopted. Everyone seems to be forgetting a lot less stuff nowadays with this new app. Grocery shopping has definitely become an easier experience.

Notifications Center: Who doesn't like getting all the newest updates in one place? Now instead of swiping through multiple apps to get the current weather, your latest emails or Facebook updates, users can just check all that in the notifications center.

iMessages: Lastly, for those who don't have an unlimited text messaging plan, iMessages is a new shining beacon of light. The ability to send unlimited text messages to any iOS 5 users is one of the more general new features from Apple.
