Toronto-based furniture company Gus* Modern is debuting a new upholstery line at the High Point Furniture market this month. The LOFT Series is scaled for apartment living and constructed with 100% FSC-certified wood—a first for the company.
The LOFT Series will launch with five new upholstery frames:
- The Jane Loft Bi-Sectional ($2,875 USD) is a city-scaled version of the best-selling Jane Bi-Sectional, and features a repositionable chaise component and button-tufted cushions.
- The midcentury-inspired Spencer Loft Bi-Sectional ($2,875 USD) incorporates a chaise with back support that can be positioned on the left or right side of the sofa, or used apart from the sofa as compact, stand-alone seating.
- The Blake Loft Bi-Sectional ($2,875 USD) features a repositionable chaise, French seams and a solid Ash wood base in natural or wenge finish. The Blake series also includes a a city-scaled sofa ($1,825 USD) and chair ($1,035 USD).
- Sparrow Glider ($999 USD) and Ottoman ($399USD), a clean-lined set designed for the modern nursery.
Gus* Modern is also expanding its dining collection with six new chairs and stools. Keep an eye out for these pieces to become available for purchase in the coming months.
