If you’re looking for a little fall upgrade for your bedroom or otherwise, don’t sleep on the new “Back to Everything” collection launching today online at JCPenney and in select stores in collaboration with The Novogratz. Though exuberant textiles are the main event here — comforter sets, sheet sets, body pillows — the exclusive to JCPenney assortment also includes some furniture, lighting, rugs, and wallpaper.

“We love creating elevated yet accessible designs and have found the perfect partner in JCPenney to kick off a new line of exclusive bedding and rugs with a curated selection of our favorite decor and furniture,” said Robert and Cortney Novogratz in a press release about the line. “Happiness starts at home, and this collection is about optimism and creating an inspiring sanctuary for ourselves until we can return to friends, date nights, school, and travel with enthusiasm.”

You can tell fun really dictated the design direction, with patterns ranging from on-trend checkerboards (see below) to marbleized zebra prints. The Novogratz drew much of their inspiration for this range from the vintage layers they curated in a recent renovation project of a historic home in New York City. If you like bold colors or funky prints, there’s definitely something here for you, and a few of the items could work in more neutral settings, too. Make no mistake about it though; these pieces are made for pattern mixing!

I’m loving the squiggle (pictured at the top of the page) and dash Trancoso area rugs. They come in a couple of key sizes (runners and both small and large rectangles), and in their subtle ivory and gray colorways, they make a Memphis-like statement in a room without going over the top. There’s even figural zebra bedding that’s a dead ringer for Scalamandre’s legendary zebra pattern you may remember from Wes Anderson’s “The Royal Tenenbaums.”

All of the bedding is crafted of 100 percent cotton and has sustainability and safety in mind with OEKO-TEX and Made in Green certifications. Those labels mean pieces are manufactured free of harmful substances in environmentally-friendly facilities under safe and socially responsible working conditions.

The range starts at $29.99 and tops out at $700 for furniture pieces (though coupon codes make items cost a lot less, in general). My advice? Check things out sooner than later because the line will be available for a limited time. You can see more of the offerings at JCPenney right now.
