The Pun Intended Woofer Speaker

There's no bones about it, we're pretty smitten with these doggy-esque speakers from Sander Mulder. We've always thought the idea of having a taxidermy animal in our space would be intriguing, but this looks like a far more sensible and well designed option. Plus, it's a headless dog speaker, seriously... how cool is that?!

Although these "Woofer" speakers first made their debut a few years ago, we still love them today and wish they were in more constant production. Like many fabulous designs from Sander Mulder, it's not yet available in retail outlets. The studio's main goal is to focus on quality instead of quantity, but they do produce exclusive (and sometimes limited) series of their designs which they sell and ship directly to you, no matter where you are in the world.

So that isn't to say that your dreams of owning a Woofer Speaker are shattered, instead there's a good chance man's best friend can be yours, but you'll have to contact Sander Mulder for more information.

We could see a small bird being a counterpart "tweeter" speaker to go with the "woofer above, but all animals aside, what other things do you think would be cool to be made into (or cast) as speaker cabinets? Share your creative suggestions below!
