The Second Life of Stamps

The era of truly handmade and stamped cards may have passed. Stamps are quickly being replaced by computers and fancy printers, but that does not mean they have to leave your house! With strong wooden handles and unique ink stains, there is nothing more personalized than a retired stamp as decor. Here are two genius ways to reuse those stamps.

Drawer Pulls from Letter Stamps - Pick out your favorite letters to adorn your kitchen cabinets. You can spell things across them or create a random assortment of sizes and letters. Simply drill a hole in the back and screw them into your cabinets with a washer to secure them in place.

Hollowed Stamp Holder - A little more tool-inclined? Try hollowing out the middle of the wooden backing and create a unique holder. You can use it for toothbrushes, pens and pencils, paintbrushes or even add a glass tube and make it a flower vase.

This is an easy project to add a little bit of individuality to your home!
