The Slouchback: From Bed To Sofa In 30 Seconds

The Slouchback: From Bed To Sofa In 30 Seconds

When we first caught a glimpse of the Slouchback (that's the massive pillow like device above) we weren't sold on it. It felt ginormous and awkward, but the more we wanted to hate it — the more we really started to fall in love with it. See why after the jump!

We wanted to tell you this was the most oversized, ridiculous product we'd seen in quite some time. Then we visited a friends house for game night/play date and found ourselves quickly propped on a spare bed in their basement while we corralled children and did our best to not be the worst one at Trivial Pursuit.

It should have been comfortable. A bed, turned sideways against a wall with a ridiculous amount of pillows, sounds like a perfect napping spot and we're sure it probably is. But for doing functional things, like trying not to spill your carrot sticks and dip while adding a pink piece to our pie... let's just say we were struggling.

As much as our first thoughts turned towards frustrations with this product, we're actually quite curious to try it. The Slouchback inflates in 30 seconds flat with a built in air pump and deflates in the same amount of time. It can be stored against the wall and the bed, ready for whatever your kids (or adults with small spaces) have to throw at it. Are they playing video games in bed? Watching a movie? Having an all day Harry Potter-reading marathon?

The Slouchback retails for $99 and has interchangeable covers in 6 different colors. There's also two videos on their website of the set up and cover changing experience (for those who aren't as convinced as us!).

Would this have a place in your home? Let us know in the comments below!
