Are you anxious about your decor choices? Can't stop agonizing over every little decision? It's time to stop overthinking it! Get ready to drastically simplify the way you decorate. All you need are three little words to make a home that feels perfect for you.

Which three? That's up to you. Try this: identify three adjectives that you'd like to feel while in your room and use those themes to carry you through every decision you make about your decor. The key to being happy at home is to get out of your head once and for all and worry more about how your space makes you feel.

For example, I'd like to feel calm, comfortable and sociable when I'm in my living room, so every piece of furniture, every lamp, every knick-knack I put in my living room should make me feel one of those things. Make ME feel that way. Remember, decor is subjective. What feels good to one person (even if that one person is an "expert") is not the end-all, be-all rule for everyone's home. Pick your words, stick to those ideas, and you can't help but have a room that feels good to you.
