Needing change in the house, I've been looking for bold design statements for every room. The kids are asking to write on their walls as a new decoration, and I feel I need to guide this a little so it's not just a big chalkboard full of scribbles, but something they can be proud of.

Here are 10 walls with text that are inspiring me, from single letters to words - all the way to an entire chapter from a book!

1. Bold mix of colors and letter wall paper, by Dwellers without Decorators.
2. Bold Mix of Letters and Numbers, on Mattson Creative.
3. Big Chalkboard Letterfound on Anna Lee Nashem's blog Le Shop.
4. Harry Potter Chapter on the Wall, by When Boredom Strikes.
5. Wooden Vintage City Signat Chelthenham Road on Etsy.

6. "Rest" on a Kids' Room wallfrom A Monochromatic Room for Siblings on Apartment Therapy.
7. Comic Book Foam letters, Etsy shop Spotted Flats.
8. Illusion Art, by Thomas Quinn.
9. String Art Letters, on Jk Jk blog.
