We ran across The Chip Factory when we discovered Ben Wilson's Chairfix for sale at Matter in Brooklyn and we got an email telling us where it came from. There are many nooks and crannies to the international consortium of hipsters and designers that populate the web and the world, and Chip Factory is one of them.

A collective of 10 British artist/designers, Chip Factory is as much a support group as it is a marketing idea and meeting place for ideas. The ten members do wildly different things from hair braiding to photography...

to fashion to jewelry to art, but a quick tour through their site will excite you with its freshness and strong graphic imagery.

The website holds info on each of its members and will soon sport a e-store for shopping, which would be a great use of their collective concept and the natural evolution of their hip branding. This is a site to watch. MGR
